Sam Crockatt Quartet
Sam Crockatt has recently emerged on the UK jazz scene to substantial critical acclaim. His influences range from Coltrane to Joe Henderson and Julian Arguelles. Sam writes his own catchy tunes and moves from thrilling intensity to quiet reflective passages. His rhythm section features Kit Downes, the young pianist who burst onto the scene with the band Empirical and now leads several bands of his own.
